🏛️ Shekinah Room – Event Rental Overview

  Charming, intimate ballroom featuring a glass chandelier, elevated stage, and flexible seating.   Capacity - Banquet Style: 125–130 guests  
- Auditorium Style: Up to 250 chairs   Included Amenities - Tables: 60" round & 6-ft rectangular  
- Sound system with (2) microphones  
- (3) 55" TVs/monitors  
- Kitchen (storage & prep only)  
- Event consultation   Rental Duration & Pricing - Minimum Rental: 4 hours – $600  
- Extended Rental (4–6 hrs): $600  
- Additional Hours: $100/hr   Rental Hours Policy Hours include setup and breakdown time   

-Booking Deposit*: $250 (Required to secure date, refundable within 48 hrs; applied toward rental fee)
- Damage Deposit**: (Refundable): $250 due 14 days before event

 - Balance Due Date Full balance due 14 days prior to scheduled event

- 4–6 hours: $1,200 (includes setup & breakdown)  
- Additional hours: $100/hr

Booking Deposit*:

$500 (Required to secure date, refundable within 48 hrs; applied toward rental fee)

Damage Deposit**

$500 (Refundable; due 30 days prior to event)

Remaining Balance Due

Final payment due 14 days before event

🏟️ Rental 💼 Booking Deposit – $250/$500

This deposit is required upfront to officially reserve your event date at the Shekinah Room/Main Auditorium of the Household of Faith Event Center. It serves as confirmation that you intend to use the space and locks in your requested time on the calendar.

🔐 What It Does:

  • Secures your date and holds the venue for your event
  • Applies directly toward your rental fee—this is not an extra charge, just a partial prepayment

⏳ Refund Policy:

  • If you decide to cancel within 48 hours of making the deposit, you are eligible for a full refund
  • After 48 hours, the deposit becomes non-refundable but still counts toward your final rental balance if you continue with the booking. 

Booking Deposit – Non-Refundable After 48 Hours, But Still Credited Toward Final Balance

Once a booking deposit is made to secure your event date at the Household of Faith Event Center, you have a 48-hour window to cancel and receive a full refund—no questions asked.

However, if you do not cancel within that 48-hour timeframe, the following applies:

🔒 Non-Refundable Status

  • After the 48-hour grace period, the deposit becomes non-refundable. This means it cannot be returned, even if you cancel your event.

💰 Still Counted Toward Rental Fee

  • If you proceed with the event, the full deposit is credited toward your total rental cost.
  • For example, if your base rental fee is $1,200, and you’ve paid the $500 deposit, your remaining balance would be $700 (plus any applicable additional charges).

🔒 Damage Deposit – $250/$500

The damage deposit is a refundable payment intended to protect the venue against any potential damages or excessive cleaning requirements resulting from the event. It ensures accountability and maintains the integrity and readiness of the facility for future use.

⏰ Due Date:

  • Must be paid 14/30 days prior to the scheduled event.
  • Timely payment is necessary to avoid disruption in your booking agreement.

💸 Refund Policy:

  • After your event, the venue staff will inspect the premises for damage, cleanliness, and proper use of space and equipment.
  • If no issues are found, your $250/$500 deposit will be returned within 3 business days of the event’s completion.

⚠️ Conditions That May Affect Refund:

  • Physical damage to property (furniture, fixtures, stage, AV equipment)
  • Misuse of facilities (excessive mess in kitchen, unauthorized access)
  • Delayed checkout or extended use without approval
  • Violation of rental agreement policies
